The Challenge
Raybloc X-ray Protection was approached by DD Porter to supply and install new observation windows at the Nuffield Hospital in Exeter for September 2017.
The hospital department required X-ray protection in the form of large windows for viewing areas, with two having the option of additional privacy added.
The Solution
Raybloc manufactured the observation windows to fit perfectly first time in to the structural opening.
In addition, two windows were installed with Raybloc’s Visibloc Smart Glass that is operated to change glass from transparent to opaque at the flick of a switch, to provide the required option for additional privacy for the practitioners when needed.
