Conventionally, X-ray warning lights come in the form of wall-mounted boxes positioned on the walls next to the entrance, containing bulbs that illuminate the signage. This of course causes concern about spacial visibility and ledges for dust particles to collect and infection to spread. To combat these problems, Raybloc pioneered the first Flush Mounted Warning Light.

Flush Mounted Warning Lights – Sold Exclusively with Doors
Raybloc’s flush-mounted warning lights are exclusively available as part of a complete Raybloc Doorset and are not sold separately. This is because the lights are uniquely engineered to be seamlessly integrated into the leaf and frame of our radiation-protective doors during the manufacturing process, ensuring a hygienic, sealed, and fully compliant finish that does not compromise the shielding effectiveness of the door.
Medical Safety Two-stage Signage for Lead Lined Xray Rooms
Much like traditional wall-mounted X-ray warning lights, Raybloc’s Flush-Mounted Warning Lights feature:
- A black background where Controlled Area X-rays is displayed in yellow on the upper half.
- A black background where Do Not Enter is displayed in red on the bottom half.
Connected to the main power supply to the X-ray unit, this signage will be turned on in sections in accordance with the two-stage operation of a controlled area. The integrated warning lights are triggered automatically when the main power is switched on, ensuring no manual operation is required.
