The Sense X Screen is a lead-lined X-ray screen featuring a sleek frameless glass finish and customisable LED lighting. Sense-X Screen is used in X-ray rooms where there is limited scatter radiation whereas Sense-X Internal Window is suitable as a control viewing window for CT rooms and PET-CT rooms where scatter radiation is prevalent.

FAQs
How does the long lifespan of Sense-X reduce the need for maintenance and replacements in high-demand industries?
Like all products manufactured by Raybloc, Sense-X Screens and Sense-X Internal Windows have a 10-year material & workmanship guarantee. This ensures that the fixtures will remain for the lifespan of the X-ray equipment used within the room, and the responsibility would lie on Raybloc should there be any issues throughout this period.
Can Raybloc Sense-X be easily integrated into existing devices or infrastructure, or does it require significant redesign?
Sense-X products can either be integrated into the room’s existing LED lighting, or they can be plugged in through a simple three-point plug. Each fixture comes with a remote control to allow the radiographer or patient to operate the LED lighting to suit their needs.
Can the Sense-X Screen be customised for specific radiation types (e.g., gamma rays, X-rays) depending on the use case?
Sense-X Screens are primarily used in general X-ray rooms, where a partial lead-lined partition is suitable and a lead equivalence less than 2.65mm is suitable. Sense-X Internal Windows, by contrast, can be made up to 20mm Pb and are designed to fit into control room window apertures for use in rooms like CT and PET-CT rooms.
